How to Solve the Fun Addition Questions

We guess you are ready to solve the questions in this part. Here are some simple steps to help you solve our fun addition questions. Follow the steps carefully.

  1. Read the Question Carefully
    • Make sure you understand what the question is asking. Look for the numbers that you need to add together.
  2. Identify the Numbers
    • Find the two numbers in the question. For example, if the question says you have 3 cats and 4 dogs, the numbers are 3 and 4.
  3. Use Your Fingers or Objects
    • You can use your fingers, draw pictures, or use small objects like buttons or coins to help you count. For example, for 3 cats and 4 dogs, you can count 3 fingers for the cats and 4 fingers for the dogs, then count all the fingers together.
  4. Write the Addition Sentence
    • Write down the numbers and the plus sign to show the addition. For example, 3 + 4 = ?.
  5. Add the Numbers
    • Count all the objects or fingers together to find the total. In the example of 3 cats and 4 dogs, you count all the fingers to get 7. So, 3 + 4 = 7.
  6. Double-Check Your Answer
    • Look at your answer again to make sure it makes sense. You can count one more time if you want to be sure.
  7. Have Fun
