Answer: 600 g — For one: 360 ÷ 6 = 60. For 10: 60 × 10 = 600.
A class has 24 boys and 28 girls. What is the ratio of boys to girls in its simplest form?

Answer: 6:7 — Both numbers divide by 4: 24 ÷ 4 = 6 and 28 ÷ 4 = 7, so the simplest form is 6:7.
In a school choir the ratio of boys to girls is 5:6. There are 30 girls. How many boys are there?

- 25 boys
- 30 boys
- 5 boys
Answer: 25 boys — 6 parts are 30, so one part is 30 ÷ 6 = 5. Then 5 parts are 5 × 5 = 25.
